It's been a while..................

I can't believe it's been almost 2 months since my last post here!
I have to say in that time life has certainly been full of ups and downs, new job, poorly boy ( who is on his road to recovery now thankfully, everything crossed! ) a litter of puppies to nurture, socialise and find loving homes for and finally a calf strain that has been so painful for the past 3 weeks!
It really has felt like the universe has been against me at times, so here's hoping for a uneventful run up to christmas!

So speaking of Christmas, 115 days and counting!
The new Autumn winter catalogue is out now, jam packed with goodies!

View the new catalogue HERE

If you would like your own copy of this catalogue please contact me, I'd be happy to send you one in the post.

So I'm currently busy designing projects for my new classes with new products.
I'm really looking forward to holding my first stamp a stack in October on World Cardmaking day
Please see below for details.

Places are limited so please do book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Here's a peek at a recent make using a new product ( the little acorn bunting ) and new designer papers called into the woods, my favourite non christmas collection in the new catalogue!

6 days and counting!

.....not long now till the brand new Stamping Up Annual Catalogue is live!

There are so many lovely new products, it's going to be difficult to choose what to play with first.

Of course one of the perks of being a demonstrator is that we get to have a sneak peek at what's coming your way a little earlier than it's official release.

This also gives us a little time to prepare samples to show you

Here is one of my samples from the Build a birthday stamp set
using the new in colour inks and card.

I've used the brand new envelope paper, a lovely lightweight paper that's perfect for creating coordinating envelopes....also in the new in colours.

You can view this sample and more at my NEW catalogue event this coming Saturday
See the details below

If you would like a copy of the new catalogue with the make and take included
for just £5 posted to your door
Just drop me an email at thestampingshed@yahoo.com with your details.

A little catch up............

Hello again, here's a little catch up on my weekend.

The card I'm sharing today is another one that the ladies will be making tonight at my monthly technique class.

I have to confess I'm a complete Pinterest addict and I love the inspiration I get from there, not just for all things crafty but everything!

This card really caught my eye and although it's not a complete CASE I did take lots of elements from it for my card.

You can find the original here on Pinterest

On Saturday I held my first Crafternoon Tea.
12 lovely ladies joined me at Coopers Cafe Bar in Skipton.
It really is a cosy, light space with a lovely atmosphere

and as I mentioned their homemade cakes are delicious!

it was a nice, relaxed afternoon with lovely people.....

So I have penciled in Saturday the 16th of May for Crafternoon Tea at the same venue.
If you would like to join us you would be very welcome.
Just drop me an email or message me on Facebook.

Four feathers..........

Hello there,
I'm back again today to share another card
using the Four feathers bundle I showed you yesterday.
This is such a quick an easy card to make!
I like the simplicity of it, sometimes less is more I think.
And a great way to make a quick batch of thank you cards.

The colours I used are Strawberry slush, Crumb cake and Lost Lagoon for the feathers

and for the background i used the large splodge stamp
from the Perpetual birthday calendar stamp set using Soft Sky ink
I hope you all enjoy some sunshine today

An open heart

So the past few days I've been a busy bee, designing and prepping for my next events.
Today's card is one we are making next week at the monthly card making workshop I hold in Skipton
I have used the lovely An Open Heart stamp set for this months class.

This is a really nice detailed stamp set
and great for both male and female cards I think

I also used the Four feathers stamp set
which you can purchase as a bundle with the matching dies
saving you 15%  on the separate retail price
