Sale-a-bration 2015 and NEW Spring summer catalogue launch

Hello there,
I hope you have all had a lovely christmas with your families
and are now enjoying a well deserved break?

I'm just enjoying a couple of days off work now preparing to kick start a crafty 2015!

Christmas comes and goes so quickly, the New Year is fast approaching,
and with that in mind it's nearly time for the launch of
the Stampin Up Sale-a-bration 2015 catalogue AND the new Spring/summer catalogue too!
So EXCITING!

One of the perks of being a demonstrator is that you get to view and pre order the products early and I have to say there are gorgeous products in the new catalogue that I know you are going to love!

So what is Sale-a-bration?
Sale-a-bration is a special event for you the customer between 6th Jan and 31st March, it's an opportunity for you to earn FREEBIES!
As a thank you from Stampin Up you will be rewarded for every £45 you spend with one freebie of your choice from the Sale-a-bration leaflet.
There are no limits to how many Freebies you can earn !
The stamp sets are NEW and exclusive to the Sale-a-bration  leaflet and are not available in either the main catalogue or the new Spring/summer catalogue.

One of the things I really like about the NEW spring/summer catalogue
is that it covers all occasions for that season, so there are valentines, mothers day, easter, graduation, wedding, baby and new birthday/celebration products too, there are new designer papers, framelits and bundle offers too!

If you would like a copy of the new Spring/summer catalogue and the Sale-a-bration leaflet
I will be holding a Launch/coffee/get together
on tues the 6th of January
at Herriots Hotel, Skipton
at 6pm-7.30pm

I will have samples and products to show you with me on the night
from both the Sale-a-bration leaflet and the Spring/summer catalogue
So it will be a great opportunity for you to not only browse but see the products up close.

If you can't make it to the launch but would like copies I'm happy to post them to you, just drop me an email......................

If you would like to come along just drop me a email at thestampingshed@yahoo.com
Look forward to hearing from you

Kinda Eclectic

Hello there, I'm sorry I haven't been around much the past few weeks, it's been full of ups and downs.

I recently started a new full time job which has seen a period of adjustment to my routine, but thankfully things are settling down now.

And with perfect timing I have had a really nasty cold virus, just what you want when you are trying to get to grips with a new job and getting to know your new work colleagues, coughing and sneezing all over the place is so not attractive, but I'm on the mend now and beginning to enjoy the challenges a new job brings.

So my poor craft room has been neglected through all this but I'm happy to say I'm back to it now and busy preparing for my next class which is on Friday the 5th of December, watch this space for full details very shortly.

This morning I've been having a play with the Kinda Eclectic stamp set.
Just stamps and ink, simple.................
What I really like about this set is that not only can you create lovely cards with the whole collection, they would individually work really well with other stamp collections you may have. Foliage stamps and butterfly stamps are a staple stamp I think.

I love how the leaves and the little butterfly actually stamp with a distress look to them!

So have a lovely sunday whatever you are doing? I'm spending my day crafting, a cup of tea is waiting and the music is on! My perfect kind of day, bliss..................
See you soon ..........

*If you wish to purchase any of the products used in todays project, just click on the pictures below and they will take you to the product in my shop.*

Hope is a wish with a little more Clout.....

Hello there, today I want to share with you such a lovely heart warming story.

Earlier in the week I came across a story shared on Facebook about a lady called  Betty Musker.

Today Betty celebrates her 104th birthday!

She lives in a nursing home and the staff there had asked Betty what she would like for her birthday this year to which she replied " just a card "
So sweet!
So the staff started a group on Facebook
with the aim to grant Betty's wish and perhaps reach a total of 104 cards, one for each year !
It's been so lovely to see what an overwhelming response they have had from all over the world, it's amazing what the power of the internet can do...they have received over 5000 cards!

So much more than the staff could have hoped for!
The story even reached The One show on the BBC

fast forward to around 10 minutes in to the show :)

So my card today is to say a big well done to the staff,
Hope is a wish with a little more clout
an amazing story and an amazing lady!
Happy Birthday Betty xx

Have a lovely weekend!

I'm dreaming of a White Christmas!

Hi there, I'm back today to share with you the projects I have created for my very first class at The Stamping Shed and of course with Christmas just around the corner, 98 days and counting,my class is a great way to get your Christmas card mojo going!

Choosing which stamp set to use for my first class was difficult, there are so many lovely stamp sets in the new Autumn Winter catalogue but the White Christmas collection is so sweet it had to be the one!

There are a total of 13 stamps, amazing value for just £13.95!
and as this set is clear polymer it's so easy to create fun winter scenes.
I was really impressed with the quality of the stamped results, even the tiny birds lost no detail!

The little stamps are perfect to add to a tag on a gift box,
a lovely detail that really ties a card and gift together.

This little box was created using my favourite tool of 2014,
 the envelope punch board,

it's such a versatile tool creating not only envelopes but boxes,
gift bags, paper bows and much more!

Fancy joining me for the class at The Stamping Shed?
